Have you ever wondered why you feel sluggish sometimes and not at others? Or why you no longer have the energy you once did? Yuri is all too familiar with those questions.
Growing up Yuri struggled with low energy levels. He was sleeping 10 hours a night and needing 2 hour naps in the afternoon. Yuri also was suffering from bad digestion, eczema and asthma. When he developed alopecia at age 17 he decided enough was enough and he started investigating what was causing his issues.
And he found the source: it was his diet. When he shifted what he was eating his energy levels shifted too – almost overnight. Since then he has gone on to help hundreds of thousands of people have more energy.
During our show today Yuri explains why certain foods lower your energy levels, the 3 ways to add more energy to your life and some non-food-related tools for boosting your energy.
Yuri’s 3 suggestions for increasing your energy levels every day are to add a green salad to your lunch or dinner, make a green smoothie for your pre-breakfast or breakfast and then snack on cut up fruits, veggies with some almonds or walnuts for protein.

Yuri believes in adding more plants – specifically green veggies – to our daily diets. He doesn’t believe we have to give up eating meat or a Paleo diet to have more energy.
Instead he recommends adding greens to our nutritional intake so we can increase our alkalinity, reduce inflammation and reduce toxins – all keys to having more energy.
Another recommendation he has is to clear your mind through meditation and time in nature. According to Yuri if we’re constantly juggling a thousand thoughts those thoughts will drain us. So by practicing meditation regularly, even just 10 minutes a day, we can stop those thoughts and free up more energy.
